It is one of the West’s least known areas and a great place to escape from the crowds. The area offers great hiking, camping, fishing, and other recreational opportunities.

The Straight Creek Trailhead is located off the Middle Piney Road and provides access to both the Straight Creek and Long Hollow Trails.  These trails are open to foot, mountain bike and stock users.

Trail provides quick access into the high country, and provides a good view of Menace Falls. The South Cottonwood Creek Trail provides access to the Wyoming Range National Recreation Trail.
